Some allow you to stop without a separate fee, while others may require notice, charge an early-cancellation fee, or bill you for services you have already received.

Look for the cancellation, renewal, and payment sections of your agreement, then note your next billing date and any required notice period. If a fee or remaining balance is unclear, ask the provider for a written breakdown of what you would owe if you canceled on a specific date, including any charges for care already provided.

A wellness plan may spread the cost of routine services across monthly payments, so canceling after your dog has received those services could leave a balance even if there is no stated cancellation fee.
